In 70 days we will meet in Poland.
Already today we are thinking about the moment when we will welcome you to the Kashubian land, a place full of lakes, forests, culture and kind people.
Kashubia is a unique region. Its inhabitants nurture their own language, traditions and a sense of community. We truly want you to feel here the atmosphere of closeness, openness and being together.
Each day we feel more strongly that RIDEF 2026 is becoming a reality. The organizational work is accelerating, and we are deeply moved as we observe your engagement, messages, questions and readiness to co-create this event.

For 30 years we have been waiting for RIDEF to take place in Poland again. For our Freinet movement, this event has special significance. It is not only a meeting of teachers from different countries. It is a meeting of people who believe in education based on relationships, cooperation, respect and children’s agency.
The history of RIDEF in Poland creates a beautiful continuity:
1976 – Płock
1996 – Kraków
2026 – Gniewino
As of 20 May 2026, 244 participants from 24 countries and 5 continents have already registered. Each new registration brings us joy and the feeling that we are creating a community that goes beyond the boundaries of languages and cultures.
We remind you to regularly check your email messages. This is our main communication channel with participants. We do not have contact with everyone via WhatsApp, Signal or social media, and some email addresses and phone numbers were provided with errors.
We have started sending individual emails regarding accommodation and final participation fees for RIDEF. We kindly ask for timely payments, as this allows us to calmly finalize all preparations and commitments towards our partners.
